This year Kyvin loves to make his own Christmas card for our relatives and friends; he didn't like me to help him at all, he cut his own card, and wrote & draw his own cards.

Po po's first time to see falling snow. she took Kayla out to take pictures in the deck and in our front yard. Gong Gong (maternal grandpa) took all the pictures for her.

Sammamish River Trail -2-8-09

Sammamish River Trail is one of Kyvin's favorite parks to feed ducks, goose, and chickens. KeXin enjoys to play in this park to.

In order for Kyvin to take nap this afternoon, we had to take him out to ride his tricylce so he get tired and take a longer nap (2 hours)

Kyvin & KeXin are playing animals (some are farm animals, and some are from the zoo; when clean up, Kyvin does not like to mix these animals together in the containers, he has a farm animal container, and a zoo animals container)

Lunar New Year Celebration: International District

This is Kyvin's 3rd time to see the Chinese New Year Celebration. Kayla & Pedro's first time to see the Chinese New Year Celebration. KeXin's first New Year in the USA.

2009: Kyvin wore the same Chinese traditional clothes as 2008, his Chinese clothes finally fit perfectly this year but with different emotion this year. huge difference - Kyvin scares of the lion now. Even though he already read about how Chinese celebrate the New Year from two Chinese New Year books that uncle Tom, auntie SiowFong and Lydia gave him.

Kyvin cried after he saw the lion dance, he kept saying "I want to go home."

We only stayed there about 10 minutes. We then went to eat Dim Sum at the New Hong Kong Restaurant in the Pacific Rim.

Daddy and Pedro are carrying the stroller with Kayla and Kyvin sitting in it up the stairts to the 2nd floor of the Pacific Rim building. This photo reminder me of how the kings in China used to be carried in dynasties in the Chinese history.

Kyvin's favorite dim sum dish is "steam BBQ port bun". KeXin loves Cantonese style dim sum. This is KeXin's 2nd time to eat dim sum with us. When she first introduced eating dim sum was eating lunch with us and some of daddy's friends at Jeem Asian Restaurant in Bellevue in Jan 2009. (KeXin who is from Northern China and never try the Contonese dim sum- popular in Southern China) Kyvin took this photo for mommy & Kayla (he took many photos today, this is the best one)

Juanita Park & Marina Park 1-24-09

When the weather is nice and we don't want to go too far for the outdoor, we usually go to parks that are close by: Juanita Park, Marina Park and the Sammamish River Trail. Today we went to Juanita Park for a walk, and Kyvin rode his tricycle. He saw most of his favorites things at the lake: ducks, birds, and water. Kyvin was very disappointed when he didn't see any boat. He kept saying "I can't see boat" ... Therefore we went to Marina Park to see boats (this is the park that is close by: about another 5 minutes drive)

Marina Park: Kyvin's favorite. It's also KeXin's favorite too: This is the place where she first saw a ferry, motor boats, and seagulls when we first took her here on 1/11/09.
